Survey/Initial Discussion
Foremost Signs offer free quotations and surveys to all our customers in the Bristol and the surrounding areas. All you need to do is contact us via email or phone and we would be happy to come and meet you and discuss your requirements and assist in anyway we can. To help us its always good to have a rough idea of what you after, maybe visit our products page for some visual inspiration, if your still really unsure then just get in contact, and don’t worry – you are not committed till the final design is approved and the order is placed.
Some sign requirements may not require a site visit as such, if you know of measurements of the sign you are after then we can use these to produce your quote, once the quote as been approved we can arrange a time and day for us to visit to carry out the final measurements that are required to produce your signs. Site surveys normally occur when large signage is required, large quantities or just something very different.
Our signage can be used as Cafe Signs, coffee signs, fish and chip signs, shop signs for retail and commercial business parks/estates.
Quote & Design
Once we have discussed or been given a spec of the sign that you require, we will recommend suitable materials and provide a quotation for the cost to produce and possibly fit depending on the requirements. All quotes are sent via email with our official letterhead with full details including quantities, material, cost (including and excluding v.a.t.). All our quotes are kept on file for a year so if you don’t decide to proceed straight away then there is no pressure to do so. Our quotes can also be amended if you change your mind as well right up until the order is placed.
As a sign manufacturer we also offer a full design service. If you have your own design or designer we can work alongside to ensure all your signage is produced exactly to your specification including branding rules, pantones, RAL’s etc… We can replicate any previous layouts and designs, logos or images provided and all our quotes tend to include a design so you know what the sign will look like followed by the cost to do so.
If, however, you need assistance with your completely new design we are happy to help. Just send us your rough ideas or sketches and we will send you a first draft. Foremost Signs also provide a Logo design service as well, depending on what you are after prices range from £50 to £300. We design your logo to your needs and also baring in mind what it will appear like on vans, siteboards and general signage. Once the design is completed, the files are completely yours! We will email your logo pack so you can distribute and use yourself.
Our signage can be used as University signs, sports and social club signs, restaurant signs and bar signs.
Production, Install or Delivery
Here at Foremost Signs we have a wide range of high tech equipment that allows us to produce the majority of signage in house helping us to achieve great lead times and cost effective signage. Once an order or project completes the design process, we are then over to print or plot using our wide format printers and plotters. All our printed graphics are laminated as standard allowing our graphics to exceed lifetime expectancy of 5 – 7 years. As standard all our quotes include this as we feel that lifetime of your sign is important, how this isn’t always necessary. We also stock a wide range of printed self adhesive vinyls from Removable vinyls for short term signage through to High-Tac Multi grip vinyl that sticks to rough surfaces such as interior or exterior walls..
We have our own experienced installation team and equipment allowing us to be competitive, efficient and professional when installing your signs. At the primary stage of survey and quoting we go through solutions for your signage requirements that also involves how the signs or graphics will be fitted, at this point a project leader is assigned and will work through every step of the way from quote to installing. All our installs are carried out with our own staff, with no outsourcing, meaning you get a friendly familiar face when we arrive. Risk assessments and method statements are produced and can also be available for your records upon request with health and safety in mind. Our install team is trained in the use of Ladders, Steps and Towers allowing us to fit majority of our signage without the need of specialist machinery.
Foremost Signs also provide a Free Delivery Service in the Bristol area delivered by ourselves. With the Install team out on the road on average 3 out of 5 days of the week, we are bound to be passing your door to drop them in. This is based on a “When Passing” arrangement allowing us not to charge for this service.
Collection of signs is also available with our opening hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
