2 Year Warranty Terms & Conditions

1. Warranty Overview

Foremost Signs Ltd warrants that all signage, vehicle graphics, and associated installation services supplied by us are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions.

This warranty applies to both products and labour/installation as outlined below.

2. Warranty Period

2.1 Signage (Non-Vehicle Applications)

Materials: 24 months from date of installation or collection
Installation/Labour: 12 months

2.2 Vehicle Graphics & Wraps

Materials: 12 months (unless otherwise stated in writing)
Installation/Labour: 12 months

3. What is Covered

This warranty covers:

Peeling, lifting, or failure of vinyl due to incorrect application.
Defects in printed graphics (e.g. significant fading, cracking, or delamination not caused by external factors)
Installation faults resulting in premature failure
Structural issues with signage caused by workmanship

4. What is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear, including minor fading over time
Damage caused by:

By the customer, including but not limited to scratches, tears, or abrasions.
Pressure washing too close to edges or at excessive pressure
Harsh chemicals, solvents, or improper cleaning methods
Environmental conditions (e.g. extreme weather, salt exposure, pollution)

Any cosmetic damage to the vehicle, whether or not directly related to the vinyl installation, is not covered under this warranty. Inclusive of paint or lacquer peel issues.
Application to surfaces not suitable for graphics (e.g. rusted, peeling paint, low-energy plastics)
Graphics applied over existing graphics, paintwork defects, or non-factory finishes
Removal or damage to paintwork during de-application
Customer-supplied artwork errors approved prior to production
Any modifications, repairs, or alterations carried out by third parties

5. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty validity, the customer must:

Follow all care and maintenance guidance provided by Foremost Signs
Allow appropriate curing time before washing (typically 1-2 weeks for vehicle graphics)
Wash your graphics by hand with a soft, non-abrasive cloth using a pH neutral shampoo (solvent and alcohol free), and after a complete rinse, let the graphics air dry.
Drive through car washes are not advised.
Notify Foremost Signs promptly of any issue.

6. Making a Claim

In the event of a warranty claim:

Contact Foremost Signs as soon as the issue is identified
Provide photographs and a description of the issue
Allow inspection (where required)

Foremost Signs reserves the right to assess the fault before approving any claim.

7. Remedies

If a valid claim is confirmed, Foremost Signs Ltd will, at its discretion:

Repair the defective area
Replace the affected graphics or signage
Reinstall where necessary

This warranty is limited to the original contract value of the work carried out.

8. Limitation of Liability

Foremost Signs shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
Loss of business, revenue, or vehicle downtime
Costs incurred by third parties without prior approval

9. Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. This warranty is non-transferable to other vehicles.

10. General

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK law. Foremost Signs Ltd reserves the right to refuse replacement of a failure if deemed to be a result of care instructions not being adhered too correctly. In which case the replacement part will be replaced at a standard cost.
